Once you’ve joined the Telegram channel, you’ll receive alerts for each bet. They’ll look like this:

BBP stands for Best Bookie Price – this is what will be recorded and is the bet we advise taking when it’s available.

MGP stands for Minimum Guide Price – this will show the minimum price the bet should be taken at and which books are offering a price of at least that value.

As many of our bets are player cards, goals, shots on target, etc, substitute bonuses are an important factor of what we do. This is a bonus some books will offer where if the player is substituted, the bet will carry over to his replacement. This can vary wildly in how much it’s worth – sometimes, it will be purely insurance against an injury, in the case of a centre-half who is extremely unlikely to be subbed. Sometimes, it could be a player unlikely to finish the match where the prospect of their replacements contribute a large amount of the EV.

As a result, the BBP is not necessarily the highest possible price, simply the best possible bet according to our analysis. For example, in this bet, we have chosen to take a lower price to take advantage of the substitution bonus. This is usually explained in the notes, but an asterisk over the price indicates that the substitution bonus is active for that price and bookmaker.

Lastly, we may also post alternative bets. These are other angles on the same idea which we also believe to be value, which we post in case you aren’t able to get on at a particular book. For example:

Here, we’re not recommending both bets – we believe the first bet, for a shot on target, is the best bet. However, if you don’t have a Coral or a Ladbrokes account but you do have a SkyBet account, you should take the goalscorer bet which we also believe to be good. We aren’t recommending both because we don’t want to commit two units to one idea. If you have accounts for both bets, you could have half a unit on each, but we record the result of the original bet only for results purposes.

When it comes to staking, we advise and record to a flat unit stake on all selections. In our view, this is the best and simplest method and gives a good balance of risk and reward. You may experiment with other staking plans if you wish, but we can’t provide precise EV figures for every bet. For a particularly good bet, we may suggest betting more units, but we always record to one. In addition, this can sometimes be deduced from our advised prices – if we recommend a bet at a BBP of 7.0 and a MGP of 4.5, it’s clear that we believe the 7.0 to be extremely good value.

FAQs:

What does 1×2 mean?

1×2 simply means that team to win. So if we advise ‘Arsenal vs Tottenham  – Arsenal 1×2’ then we are just advising Arsenal to win the match.

Do you recommend putting these in multiples?

Putting the bets in multiples should increase both your EV and account longevity. However, we recommend fairly high odds bets overall, so this will significantly increase your variance and will lead to much longer losing streaks. We record and advise to flat stakes, but if you have a sufficient bankroll and mentality to cope with extreme variance, then putting them into multiples can be fine.

What starting bank should I use?

We advise flat stakes, and for that, we recommend a bank of 150 points. You can go slightly lower or higher depending on your own risk tolerance.
